2008 / Mauthen How it all began
In 2008, we simply wanted to brew the best beer.
Alois Planner and Klaus Feistritzer. Neighbours, friends and, eventually, brewery founders. They learned by doing, through setbacks, long working days and a determination to keep going.
That passion now goes into every brew, in a brewery we built into our old family home and developed step by step. And in a team that gets stuck in every day to bring our idea of beer to life.

03 The brewery
Our 20-hl brewhouse sits right inside the old house.
We brought hotel history and former farm buildings together with modern brewing technology. Since 2012, the heart of production has been our 20-hl brewhouse, continually expanded, with our own packaging facilities and a robot as a particular highlight.
